I’m not planning on leaving Instagram anytime soon. As much as it can get on my nerves sometimes, JMA wouldn’t be here without it. Instagram has allowed me to advertise for pennies, build relationships throughout Dayton, and launch a business that would never have made it through the pandemic without solid social media connections. So, I’m still very much reliant on and indebted to Instagram.
BUT.
Let’s be honest. It can be a little scary over there sometimes. I know of three local small businesses that were hacked this year alone and had a really difficult time getting their accounts back. It can feel like the best and the worst option all at one time.
So… blogs? It feels very 2014 of me to be posting this. But it also feels like a much-needed safety net. Just know that, should anything happen to my social media account, this will be the place to come find me. If you’d really like added assurance that you won’t miss anything should Instagram go kerflooey, it’s also a good idea to join the JMA newsletter mailing list. You can find that link on the homepage of this website.
There we have it. My first JMA blog post. I doubt entries will be frequent, but it does feel good knowing I have this additional option for communication. Hope you’re all well! Take care.
